Ancient Capital Kharkhorin Tour

Day 1 Ulaanbaatar D

After your arrival in Ulaanbaatar well trained English speaking guide will pick you up at the airport. Then transfer to the hotel. Depends on your flight time you will have half day city tour including National History Museum and Sukhbaatar Square.

Day 2 Ulaanbaatar – Elsen Tasarkhai little Sand Dunes. B/L/D

Today you will have delicious breakfast at the hotel then proceed to the little Sand Dunes which is 280 km from Ulaanbaatar. It lies between 3 sums (little region) within 80 km. You can enjoy the sand and have opportunity to take a splendid photo while sun shines. From the Sand dunes you will see magnificent sight of Khugnu Khaan Mountain. Overnight at tourist camp.

Day 3 Elsen Tasarkhai little Sand Dunes – Khar Khorin Soum B/L/D

Early in the morning you will have breakfast at the camp. Then head to Khugnu Khaan Mountain to explore Uvgun temple which is located base of the mountain. This temple was massively destroyed 3 times its history, but you can still see the ruins. Your guide will tell you the interesting history about the temple at Khugnu Khaan Mountain. After than drive 100 km to reach Khar Khorin, ancient capital city of Mongolia. After dinner you can hike to the hill which has a Great Khaans’ Monument. At the top you can rest and admire the magnificent panorama of Orkhon Valley. If you want there are some local people sell the ancient souvenirs. Overnight at tourist camp.

Day 4 Khar Khorin soum - Hustai National Park B/L/D

After your breakfast explore the well known monastery Erdene Zuu which was established in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan. It is surrounded by 108 stupas. You’ll get know about the monastery by your guide. Then you will have 300km drive to get Hustai National Park, special protected area in 1993 by Mongolian Government. Surely you will see the beautiful nature of the area. But the main thing here is the Przewalskii horse. Stay at tourist camp.

Day 5 Hustai National Park – Ulaanbaatar B/D

After your breakfast we only have 100 km drive to get Ulaanbaatar. Directly transfer to your hotel and refresh. Tour guide and drivers will pick you up at your hotel head to Mongolian Traditional dinner. After then you will enjoy the Mongolian folklore. Then proceed to your hotel.

Day 6 Depature B

After your breakfast transfer to the airport. We look forward to managing your tour in the future.
