Day 1: Ulaanbaatar City Tour
After you arrive in Ulaanbaatar, enjoy a short city tour including the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum and Sukhbaatar Square. Dinner will be at a Mongolian restaurant. /L/D/
Day 2: Baga Gazriin Chuluu Granite Formations
Full-day drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a granite area covering 300 square kilometers. Visit the cave where monks once meditated. Overnight in a tourist camp. /B/L/D/
Day 3: Ikh Gazriin Chuluu Rock Formations
Transfer to Ikh Gazriin Chuluu, stretching about 20 kilometers from west to east. Discover caves named after historic local figures who once lived or hid there. The area is rich in plant life and wildlife. Overnight in a tourist camp. /B/L/D/
Day 4: Tsagaan Suvarga Cliffs
Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga, known for its impressive 90-degree cliff formations. Overnight with a nomadic family. /B/L/D/
Day 5: Yol Valley (Bearded Vulture Valley)
Head to Yol Valley, located 2,800 meters above sea level in a protected 16 sq. km area. Even in summer, ice can be seen here, sometimes over 1 meter thick. From below, the sky appears as a thin blue line. Bearded vultures live in the surrounding area. /B/L/D/
Day 6: Dungenee Valley Birdwatching
Drive to Dungenee Valley in the Zuun Saikhan Mountains. Spot birds such as Mongolian Finch, White-winged Snow Finch, Black Redstart, Rosefinch, Wallcreeper, Mongolian Accentor, Alpine Accentor, Bearded Vulture, and Twite. /B/L/D/
Day 7: Khongor Sand Dunes & Camel Riding
Visit the Khongor Sand Dunes (180 km long, 3–15 km wide, 15–30 m high). Mountains rise ahead, while a beautiful oasis lies behind. Enjoy camel riding across the dunes. Bird sightings may include Golden Eagle, Himalayan Griffon, Saker Falcon, and Bearded Vulture. /B/L/D/
Day 8: Bayanzag (Flaming Cliffs)
After breakfast, drive to Bayanzag, famous for dinosaur fossil discoveries. In 1920, Roy Chapman Andrews explored this area. The red cliffs glow like fire during sunset. Overnight in a tourist camp. /B/L/D/
Day 9: Ongi Monastery & Steppe Landscape
Drive across the green steppe via Ongi Monastery, once a major Buddhist center with 300 monks. Overnight in a tourist camp. /B/L/D/
Day 10: Kharkhorin & Erdene Zuu Monastery
After breakfast, transfer to Kharkhorin, Mongolia’s ancient capital (established in 1235 by Ögedei Khaan). Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, built in 1586 without nails. Enjoy panoramic views of the Orkhon River and see Golden Eagles with Kazakh hunters. /B/L/D/
Day 11: Ugii Lake Birdwatching
Head to Ugii Lake (1,337 m above sea level). The lake is 15 meters deep and ideal for swimming. Bird sightings include Demoiselle Crane, Steppe Raptors, and Mongolian Larks. /B/L/D/
Day 12: Full-Day Birdwatching at Ugii Lake
Spend the entire day birdwatching around Ugii Lake. /B/L/D/
Day 13: Borgochin Lake
Proceed to Borgochin Lake, home to Ruddy Shelduck, Shoveler, Pintail, and Whooper Swan.

Day 14: Hustai National Park & Takhi Horses
Drive to Hustai National Park, famous for reintroducing the Przewalski horse (Takhi), which disappeared from Mongolia in the 1960s. Spot Golden Eagles, Black Vultures, Saker Falcons, and Amur Falcons.

Day 15: Return to Ulaanbaatar & Cultural Show
