Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
After your arrival in Ulaanbaatar have a city tour including the National History Museum, Sukhbaatar Square, and Zaisan Hill. /L/D/
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar - Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Whole day drive to Baga gazriin chuluu. Granite area covering 300km square. Visit the cave where monks used to meditate. Spend the night in the tent. /B/L/D/
Day 3: Baga Gazriin Chuluu - Tsagaan Suvraga
Drive to Tsagaan suvraga. Interesting formation of 90 C corner cliffs. Overnight in Nomadic family. /B/L/D/
Day 4: Tsagaan Suvraga - Yol valley
Head to Yol Valley/Bearded Vulture Valley/. The Mountain is 2800m above sea level. 16 sq km area was protected. Even if it is summer we can see ice there. In some cases, the width is more than 1m. When you see the sky from the bottom of the valley it resembles a blue line. Bearded vultures live in the surrounding area of Yol Valley. /B/L/D/ Tent
Day 5: Yol Valley - Khongor Sand Dunes
Drive to Khongor dunes. Khongor dunes' length is 180km, width is 3-15km, and height is 15-30m. Forward the dunes you can find high Mountains. On the other hand, backward is a beautiful oasis with the river. Thus scenery is splendid. Ride camels via dunes. /B/L/D/ Tourist camp
Day 6: Khongor Sand Dunes
Full-day stay at Khongor Dune. /B/L/D/ Tourist camp
Day 7: Khongor Sand Dunes - Bayanzag
After a delicious breakfast drive to Bayanzag /Flaming Cliffs/. This place is well-known for its finds of Dinosaurs' skeletons. In 1920 American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews explored this place and named Bayanzag /Rich in saxaul/. “Flaming cliffs” means it resembles red fire when the reddish sun shines on it. Especially during sunset. Overnight in a tent. /B/L/D/
Day 8: Khongor Sand Dunes - Ongi Monastery
Drive to Green Steppe via Ongi Monastery. This is the ruin of the valuable Buddism Center where about 300 monks used to live. Spend the night in the tent. /B/L/D/
Day 9: Ongi Monastery - Ulaantsutgalan
In the morning proceed to Ulaantsutgalan waterfall. Overnight in a nomadic family. /B/L/D/
Day 10: Ulaantsutgalan - Tsenkher
Arrival at Tsenkher hot spring via Tuvkhun temple which is 5m high on the mountain. /B/L/D/ tent
Day 11: Tsenkher - Khatkhorin
After breakfast transfer to Kharkhorin town, the ancient capital city of Mongolia which was proclaimed officially in 1235 by Ugudei Khaan.Visit the Erdene Zuu monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia.
It was built in 1586 on the ruins of the ancient capital. There was no nail used to build it. After dinner climb to the little hill where you can see the memorial of Mongolian Kings and a panoramic view of Kharkhorin town as well as the Orkhon River. Overnight in tourist camp. /B/L/D/
Day 12: Kharkhorin - Hustai National Park
Drive to Hustai National Park. It is a world-famous place for its successful reintroduction of Przewalski horses. The Takhi is a native animal of Mongolia and it has disappeared since 1960 from the Mongolia. /B/L/D/ Tent
Day 13: Hustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar
Return to Ulaanbaatar city. Take a rest and overnight in a cozy guest house. /B/L/
Day 14: Departure
Transfer to the airport. Your driver and tour guide see you off at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport./B/
